Join a Game

To take part in the game, you need to connect to the session created by the Host on your local network. No Apple Music account or internet connection is required.

Connecting to a session

Make sure you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the Host (or within Bluetooth range).

Open Play Guess and Reveal.
On the home screen, tap Join a Game.
The screen shows a radar animation while it searches for available sessions.

Detected sessions appear below the radar with the Host's name and the number of players already present.
Find your Host's session and tap Join.
Wait until you enter the Waiting Room.

Once you have joined, the Waiting Room shows the players already connected with their avatar and nickname, along with the seats still free. The game begins when the Host starts it.

If no session appears, make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on all devices, and that local network access is allowed for the app.

Customizing your profile

Before joining the game, or from the app's settings, you can customize your profile. It is visible to the Host and the other players on the connection radar and when scores are displayed.

Accessing the profile settings

Go to the player settings.
Select the Profile tab at the top of the screen.

Changing your avatar

Tap your current avatar to browse the available options.
Select the avatar of your choice.
Confirm to save.

Other customizable items

From the same Profile tab, you can also change:

The avatar contour — a colored frame around your image.
Your nickname — the name shown to the other participants.
