Playing a Game

Once connected to the Host's session, your device becomes your gameplay tool. This is where you'll buzz in, check hints, answer questions and follow your ranking in real time.

The game interface

The game screen is designed to let you react as quickly as possible. The central element is your Buzzer, which takes up most of the screen.

Using the buzzer

As soon as you think you've recognized the song, you need to buzz:

Tap the buzzer area on the screen.
If you're playing on a Mac or with an external keyboard, you can also press the Space key.

After buzzing, the Host will give you the floor and validate (or not) your answer. If your answer is incorrect, you may incur penalty points depending on the game settings.

Hints

If the track is difficult, the Host can choose to reveal hints that appear instantly on your screen.

Field reveals

The Host can gradually unveil the track's details. The artist, title, album or release year will then appear on your device, depending on what has been revealed.

Hangman

If the Host starts a "Hangman", a series of dashes appears on your screen, replacing the letters of one piece of information (such as the title or artist). Only spaces, punctuation and a few letters (about 40%) will be visible to guide you.

The 4-choice quiz

The Host can turn the question into a multiple-choice (4 answers) quiz. In that case, 4 options will appear on your screen.

Read the 4 choices carefully.
Tap the option you think is correct.
The Host will then validate the correct answer.

The real-time scoreboard

At the top of your screen, a mini scoreboard is displayed continuously so you can see how you compare to the other players.

This scoreboard shows the top 4 players in the game.
Your profile icon, nickname and current score are visible there.
The crown: A yellow crown icon above an avatar indicates the player who is currently in the lead. If several players are tied with the best score, the crown stays with the player who reached it first.
