Hints & tools

The Host has three tools to help players find the answer: field Reveal, the Hangman and the 4-choice quiz. These tools are available from the quick actions bar at the bottom of the Host interface.

Reveal

The Reveal button lets you uncover the current track's information progressively or fully in order to help players.

Available reveal options

The options offered depend on the game configuration and the track's metadata:

• The artist
• The track title
• The album
• The release year
• Reveal all — uncovers all the information at once

Revealing information

1. Tap the Reveal button in the actions bar.

2. The reveal panel opens with the options available for the current track.

3. Select the information to uncover, or choose Reveal all.

4. Players immediately see the information appear on their screens.

5. Tap Close to leave the panel.

Hangman

The Hangman displays a visual hint on the players' screens: a word or phrase in which about 60% of the letters are hidden by dashes. Spaces and punctuation are kept.

Activating the Hangman

1. Tap the Hangman button ("abc" icon) in the actions bar.

2. The menu shows the categories available based on the fields configured for the game:

   • Artist — partially hides the artist's name.
   • Title — partially hides the song title.
   • Album — partially hides the album name.
   • Year — partially hides the release year.

3. Tap the category you want.

4. The generated hint is broadcast instantly to all players' screens.

Once an option has been used, it becomes grayed out in the menu to indicate that this hint has already been revealed.

4-choice quiz

The 4-choice quiz button sends a multiple-choice quiz (4 answers) to the players' screens: one correct answer and three automatically generated alternatives.

Activating the 4-choice quiz

1. Tap the 4-choice quiz button in the actions bar.

2. Select the type of information for which to generate the options:

   • Artist
   • Title
   • Album
   • Year

3. The four choices appear immediately on the players' screens.

4. Players select the option they believe is correct.

5. The Host then validates the answers and awards the points.
