Using Game Controllers

Play Guess and Reveal supports the use of game controllers (gamepads) for a more comfortable experience, especially if you play on a large screen or prefer physical controls.

Connecting a controller

The app automatically detects any compatible game controller connected to your device (via Bluetooth or wired).

1. Pair your controller with your iOS, iPadOS or macOS device through the Bluetooth settings, or connect it via USB.
2. Open Play Guess and Reveal. The app will instantly recognize the controller.

You can use an MFi-certified controller (Made for iPhone), or standard console controllers (such as Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo Switch Pro controllers) compatible with Apple devices.

In-game features

The app is currently preparing to handle game controller input so players can use it as an ultra-responsive buzzer.

Detection is automatic and requires no configuration in the app settings. As soon as a controller is connected, the internal system (GameControllerManager) takes care of it.
