Haptic Feedback
The Play Guess and Reveal app uses your device's haptic feedback (vibrations) to enhance the gameplay experience and provide tactile confirmation of your actions.
Types of haptic feedback
The app includes several types of sensory feedback, tailored to each situation:
- Success: A light double pulse confirms that an action has been validated (for example, submitting your answers).
- Error: A series of quick, strong vibrations warns you of a problem (for example, a wrong answer or a connection error).
- Warning: An offset double pulse signals that an action requires your attention (for example, an alert before leaving a game in progress).
- Interaction (Pop-up): A single sharp pulse accompanies the opening of a menu or the appearance of a modal window.
- Selection: A very subtle "click" is felt when you navigate through lists or change settings.
Compatibility
This tactile feedback is handled natively and in an optimized way by your device's operating system. It is mainly noticeable on recent iPhones equipped with a haptic engine.
If you want to disable all vibrations on your device, you can do so from the general settings of your operating system.
