Playing a Round

As a player, your main goal during a round is to be the fastest to identify the track played by the Host and to submit your answers correctly.

The game screen

During a round, your device's screen turns into an interactive buzzer. The interface adapts in real time based on the Host's actions.

How a typical round unfolds

  1. The countdown: Each round starts with a countdown, getting you ready to listen to the track.
  2. Music playback: The track starts automatically. Listen carefully.
  3. Buzz: As soon as you think you've recognized the track (or part of the information), tap your buzzer in the center of the screen.
  4. Submit your answer: After buzzing, you have a limited amount of time (set by the Host) to enter your guesses.
  5. Validation: The Host checks your answers and awards you the corresponding points.
  6. End of round: A recap screen shows the updated scoreboard before moving on to the next track.

The Buzzer

The buzzer is the central element of your interaction. You can customize its appearance from the settings.

Customizing your buzzer

You can choose between several visual styles for your buzzer.

  1. Open the player settings.
  2. Select the Buzzer tab.
  3. Choose between the Vinyl and Modern styles.
  4. The preview adapts immediately to your selection.

Submitting your answers

When you buzz, an input form appears. The available fields depend on the configuration chosen by the Host.

The input fields

You may be asked to guess:

  • The Artist
  • The Title
  • The Album
  • The Year

Using hints

If you're stuck, the Host can send you hints that will appear directly on your screen:

  • Field reveals: A piece of information is given outright (e.g. the release year).
  • Hangman: A word appears with missing letters (e.g. _ i c h a _ l J _ c _ s _ n).
  • 4-choice quiz: A multiple-choice (4 answers) question appears. Simply select the option you think is correct.

Be strategic! Buzzing quickly guarantees you priority, but giving a wrong answer may cost you penalty points depending on the rules set by the Host.
