The in-game interface
During the game, your device's screen becomes your main tool for taking part: it acts as a buzzer, a hint display and an answer form.
The buzzer
At the start of each round, the main screen shows a large buzzer button. Depending on the options chosen in your profile, it can look like a vinyl record or a modern button.
- Listen carefully to the track played by the Host.
- As soon as you think you have recognized the artist, the title, the album or the year, quickly tap the buzzer.
- The fastest player earns the right to answer first, and their screen changes to show the answer form.

You can also use your keyboard's space bar to buzz if you are playing on a Mac or an iPad with a keyboard.
Submitting an answer
If you are the first to buzz, a form appears with the fields to guess (Artist, Title, Album, Year).
- Quickly type your answers in the corresponding fields.
- You have a limited time (set by the Host) to validate your entries.
- Tap Validate before time runs out.
The other players will then see your name appear, indicating that you are answering.
Receiving hints in real time
If no one finds the answer, or to help you, the Host can send different types of hints that will appear instantly on your screen:
Revealed information
When the Host directly uncovers a piece of information (such as the release year or the artist), it appears in clear text on your buzzer screen.
The Hangman
The Host can choose to partially hide an answer (e.g. the title) in the form of dashes. This Hangman appears above your buzzer to help you guess the full answer.
The 4-choice quiz (multiple choice)
Sometimes, the Host can launch a multiple-choice quiz. Your screen will then show 4 options.
- Read the 4 options.
- Quickly tap the answer you think is correct.
- The fastest to give the correct answer usually wins the points.
The end-of-round recap
At the end of each track, the Host validates the answers and a recap screen appears.
This screen lets you view:
- The cover, title and artist of the track that was just played.
- The name of the player who was the fastest to buzz.
- The points awarded and your current position in the game's scoreboard.
