Score calculation & MVP

Play Guess and Reveal includes a dynamic points system that rewards players' speed, accuracy and consistency throughout the game.

Calculating points

Points are awarded at the end of each Round according to the configuration set by the Host at the start of the game.

Standard scoring

Each correct piece of information (Artist, Title, Album, Year) is worth a defined number of points:

• A player who guesses the Artist and the Title will receive the combined points of both categories.
• Only answers validated as correct by the Host earn points.

Penalties and speed

Depending on the rules set by the Host:

• Penalties — A wrong answer can result in a deduction of points to discourage players from buzzing at random.
• Speed bonus — The player who buzzes first gets the chance to answer, which gives them a real advantage if they know the answer.

The MVP title (Most Valuable Player)

At the end of each track, a recap screen is shown. The player who earned the most points during that specific Round is named MVP.

Streaks

The game tracks and rewards the consistency of the best players:

• When the same player earns the MVP title across several Rounds in a row, a consecutive win streak is recorded.
• This win streak is shown on every player's screen during the Round Recap, highlighting that participant's outstanding performance.
