Using on Apple TV

Play Guess and Reveal supports Apple TV, offering an ideal experience for running your games on the big screen in your living room.

The Host role on the big screen

The app on Apple TV is exclusively designed for the Host role. It lets you display the game management interface on your television, giving better visibility to all the participants watching the main screen.

From your Apple TV's Siri Remote, you can:

• Set up and start a new game.
• Select music from your Apple Music library.
• Control music playback (play, pause, navigation).
• Reveal hints to the players during the round.
• Manage scores and the flow of the game.

Note: An active Apple Music subscription configured on your Apple TV is required to host a game.

Player role not supported

The Player role is not available on Apple TV. The principle of Play Guess and Reveal is that each player uses their own personal device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac) as an interactive, private buzzer.

If you launch the app on Apple TV, you won't see the option to join an existing game as a player.

How to host from the Apple TV

1. Download and open Play Guess and Reveal on your Apple TV.
2. Select Host a Game on the home screen.
3. Configure the game options using the Siri Remote.
4. Players in the same room can then use their iPhone, iPad, or Mac, connected to the same Wi-Fi network, to join your session.
5. Start the first round and let the Apple TV play the music and hints on the big screen.
