Quiz Generator (4-choice quiz)

When players are struggling to guess a track, the Host of the game can decide to help them by turning the classic round into a multiple-choice (4 answers) quiz. Play Guess and Reveal includes a smart quiz engine able to generate coherent options on the fly.

How the Quiz works

The quiz generator relies on Apple Intelligence to analyze the current song and suggest relevant alternative choices (the "distractors"). These false choices are selected to match the same musical style, era or world, so that the answer doesn't become too obvious.

The Host can choose to generate a 4-choice quiz for one of the following four elements:

• The Title of the track
• The Artist or band
• The Album
• The Year of release

How to launch a Quiz (Host side)

1. During a round, go to the Host's control interface.
2. Open the hints panel.
3. Select the type of information you want to turn into a quiz (Title, Artist, Album or Year).
4. Tap the button to generate the quiz (4-choice quiz).
5. The app will briefly analyze the track to retrieve three wrong but believable options, which will be shuffled in with the correct answer.
6. Once generated, the 4 choices are automatically sent to the players' screens as a hint.

Player interface

As soon as the Host triggers the quiz:

• The 4 options appear simultaneously on the participants' screens.
• Players can then read the options and use their buzzer to try to give the correct answer out loud from those offered.
• Note: The quiz acts as a visual aid to help with thinking. The classic rules for points and validation by the Host still apply.

By offering a limited set of choices, the Quiz generator helps revive the momentum of a difficult round, while keeping the suspense fully intact!
