Frequently asked questions

Does the application require an internet connection?

No. FST works entirely offline. All boards, customizations, images and history are stored locally on the device.

Are my customizations kept if I reinstall the application?

If you have enabled iCloud backup for FST (iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → FST), your customizations are backed up and restored automatically. Without iCloud, the data is local only.

Text-to-speech isn’t working

Check that:

  1. The device volume is not in silent mode
  2. Text-to-speech is enabled in Settings → FST → Voice
  3. A voice is installed on the device — you can download one via iOS Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices

Can the application be used for several users on the same device?

Currently, FST does not offer multiple profiles. Customizations are shared across all users. If you need separate profiles, let us know by opening a ticket — it’s a feature we’re considering.

How do I reset all customizations?

In Settings → FST → Reset, you can return all buttons to their original state. This action is irreversible.
